Software engineer for a biiiig company. Been working for over a year now and been all over the place here: some embedded software, worked on a Windows MFC app, some LSL in Second Life, and am now doing web development using Python and Django w/ occasional RoR coding.

@TRiG, I know what you mean. In this instance (and based on user comments), maybe it would be more enjoyable to code that than play this version. :-P

comment What is a “dead hand”?
I think the statement in the question refers to the first situation in your answer. The player claims the tile, but doesn't pick it up to put in their hand, and the next two turns have gone by, so the player can no longer pick up the tile he/she claimed, therefore having a dead hand. I think that statement is allowing the player a window in which to grab his/her tile.

comment Ideas for handicapping strong Boggle players?
I like this idea. And, I agree that limiting the number of groups in the game is probably better - makes keeping track of the game easier.

comment Protecting the surface of your board games…
I was really hoping for something that would be more like a spray on adhesive instead of an additional piece of equipment (plexiglass). But, regardless... in your experience, do you just get a single piece and use it for all your game boards? Or do you get pieces to fit each board specifically? Just out of curiosity.
