How many tokens do the survivors require in The Séance in Betrayal at House on the Hill? The only thing I can think of is that setting aside only half the tokens would give the traitor player a better idea of how many successes were needed (if they had never played the scenario before) |

What is the name of this game where you place colored cubes on a tiled grid? It sounds similar to Blockus (i.e. square grid that players take turns placing pieces on), but the blockus pieces are tetris-esque, not single squares |

What happens when the Runner stack is empty? I've been playing the game since it came out and only realized the runner didn't reshuffle until two days ago! Our Anarch games are going to change drastically, as our primary strategy was to rip through our decks with Wyldside and Disel to get all our Viruses back quickly. Changes things quite dramatically for us |

Is the 4-player variant unbalanced? Is there a fix? I'm much of the same mindset, except I don't have as high an opinion of the 3 or 5 player versions as you do! I'm interested in seeing what answers show up |

What's new in A Game of Thrones 2nd Edition? Played the game a number of times and never knew you could use the raven to look at the wildling deck... |

Can I exceed the maximum Army size by moving in more units? Ah, I didn't explain my question well as I could have. I'll make a new post. |

Can I exceed the maximum Army size by moving in more units? Is there a way to kill off your own units? There was a situation where a player wanted to vacate a region to prevent a second player from attacking/refilling his battle cards but I couldn't find anything that would allow this save for doing it by 'accident'. |

How can we play a shorter but satisfying game of Arkham Horror? With experienced players, more investigators is generally always better. With players that are looking to tone down on the game length, I'd argue heavily for keeping it at or under four players. Looking at individual submissions in the statistics report that submitted a game length in time, 4 player games generally ranged from 2-5 hours centered on 4 hours. 5-8 player games generally ranged from 3-6 hours centered on 5 hours. And there's a considerably smaller sample size for the larger groups than there is for 4 investigator games. |

When during your upkeep can you cast upkeep spells? From the revised CotDP expansion, Denying the Ancient One, Revelation of Script, and Shroud of Shadow say Upkeep: Cast and exhaust. Feeding the Mind says Upkeep: You may cast and exhaust. Not sure what you want to take from that. Fantasy Flight has acknowledged miswordings in other instances in this game, I wouldn't take these cards as exceptions to the rest of the Upkeep spells. |

When during your upkeep can you cast upkeep spells? @Matt Looking through my set of cards, Voice of Ra says 'Upkeep' rather than 'Upkeep Phase'. Perhaps that specific wording is from the initial printing, or maybe it's a typo on the AH wiki. |

When can you cast spells? Hmmm, that's a good observation! Right now, the closest thing I can find is this from the FAQ: Q: When can a character perform actions during a phase? For example, if a player with the ally Duke (“discard to immediately restore your Sanity to its maximum”) draws an encounter and has to roll a die and lose that much Sanity, when can he discard Duke to restore Sanity: not at all once the encounter card is drawn, before the roll, or after the roll? A: Actions can be performed at any time during their listed phase as long as any given conditions are met. |

What is the value of the Iron Throne track? I've found having the Iron Throne to be very useful at the end of the game when I'm making a final grab for a stronghold. It gives you the opportunity to make a grab for the last point or two before anyone else can march. Additionally, the Iron Throne track is part of the tiebreaker. Granted, it's the last step after Stronghold count, supply strength, and power, but it could potentially happen. |

When you reset the counter for successes against an Elder God do you stop counting successes for that dice roll? You did it correctly. Nyarlathotep is one of the easier ones to beat in combat. With only a -4 modifier and not resistant or immune to physical weapons, most characters will have dice to roll against him. Combined with his attack that could possibly make you lose a single clue token, you generally have an easy final battle |

If you are moved to a location with a clue do you pick it up? What BGG discussion are you trying to link to? Even after correcting the misspelling in the link, it points to a totally different game. |

Is an early escape normal in encounter 1C? FYI, from the FAQ, Investigators can only escape the map if the objective has been revealed and it allowed them to escape. |

What are the drawbacks of an automatic card shuffler? While I do see that there is another question that addressed the fact that card shufflers can deal with cards that are sized differently than standard playing cards, they do not address the question of what are the drawbacks to using an automatic shuffler, so I believe my question is still valid. |

How to solve problems with the Invisibility power in Strange Synergy The top right column on page four states 'In the rare case where two warriors occupy the same square, they do not block each other from ranged strikes.' |

How to solve problems with the Invisibility power in Strange Synergy And do you allow the Invisible Character to be specifically targeted by single square attacks, or only by area effects? Because then we'd have a Character that can ignore all obstacles on the board and do any sort of attack they want and only be affected by area effects. Which makes Invisibility significantly more powerful than Intangibility, because there is no reason to not stay Invisible forever as there are no drawbacks. |

How to solve problems with the Invisibility power in Strange Synergy Well, if you allow other characters to occupy the same space as Invisible characters and move through Invisible characters, there's no reason not to allow the Invisible Character to willingly move through them. And if you allow them to take that action, then why can they occupy the same space as a character, but not a stationary obstacle? They're both 'obstacles'. |
