comment When is my earliest opportunity to destroy a creature I couldn't counter?
This is a possible line of play, but I'd like to see @Affe's comments included in an answer - details on how counterspells work when something can't be countered, as well as how spells resolve on the stack would greatly improve the understanding of how this interaction could work.

comment Does Fateful Hour apply in this combat?
Is the total damage marked on it at the time state-based actions are checked lethal? You're suggesting that the Fateful Hour static ability is applied later than the state-based check somehow?

comment How can I beat green Tron with a control deck?
Steven darnit, you'd be correct in thinking that. I'll see if I can find another alternative (I suspect there's a reason Necrotic Sliver got played...).

comment Are cards that interact with sacrificing rare, and why?
@Circeus I mistook what you were asking (in that Sigarda and Angel of Jubilation are fairly unrelated, other than making you think about sacrificing).

comment What happens when I remove Mistbind Clique with its champion trigger still on the stack?
@thesunneversets Your latest wasn't wrong by any means! Just seems like the core confusion was more related to the triggered ability than the champion. :)

comment Help! I'm A Cylon!
To some extent it depends on how many players you've got (which drives how many Cylons/sympathizers you've got), but yeah, if you guys have been playing without reveals/supercrises...I envy your human players. :)

comment What happens if an alliance is created that would create an illegal battle?
I actually hadn't seen it, no, but the option (mentioned therein) we've been using previously was "If the two players ally, then the Sol player must immediately move that army again, as though the Sol Offensive card had just come up." It's just a house rule, though.

comment Help! I'm A Cylon!
Revealing as a Cylon gives you numerous opportunities to ruin the humans' day. From the event itself (ruining their plans for defense, etc.) to the supercrisis card - a reveal can turn the game around quick.

comment What happens when I remove Mistbind Clique with its champion trigger still on the stack?
@thesunneversets If it were actually part of the Champion ability, that would work - like "Champion a Faerie (When this enters the battlefield, sacrifice it unless you exile another Faerie you control. When this leaves the battlefield, that card returns to the battlefield.) If you do, tap all lands target player controls."

comment Is untapping my permanents during the untap step optional?
Very good question - the idea is actually not uncommon.

comment Does a creature returned by the Undying effect have summoning sickness?
@thesunneversets Totally disagree on the card design - it's already a card, and it makes excellent fodder for sac engines (e.g. Birthing Pod).

comment Would Brink of Disaster destroy an already tapped permanent?
I love when rulings are nice and concise - you don't really need comp rules here!

comment How fast can you win against a passive opponent in the Innistrad block format?
He limited this to cards in Innistrad, Dark Ascension and Avacyn Restored.

comment What should Mono-B put in sideboard against GW-Tokens?
@rahzark In this deck, I agree (which is why I don't actually recommend it). Slagstorm is still a very versatile card - it can take out a Planeswalker at 3 or less loyalty counters, or wipe these fliers. For mono-B I'd say no; for anything actually running red, I'd say yes.

comment What should Mono-B put in sideboard against GW-Tokens?
@rahzark Trying to keep Elspeth alive would be a pretty bad play - I see it as an easy three soldier for 3WW and extra turn with an Obliterator not attacking a player. That turn five commitment to attacking Elspeth with Obliterator means taking probably 8-12 damage from other tokens if Obliterator isn't left open as a blocker. If he is left open as a blocker, he's just asking to get O-ringed (he's asking to get O-ringed either way, really, but it's even meaner there).

comment What should Mono-B put in sideboard against GW-Tokens?
@rahzark the whole idea of tokens is a massive number of pumpable creatures that are easy to get out, though - with the flashback on Lingering Souls and Elspeth's -2, they'll be able to recover from that fairly easily.

comment What should Mono-B put in sideboard against GW-Tokens?
@AlexP hopefully that would get sideboarded out if Slagstorm was necessary. Obliterator is great and all, but he's not really useful against tokens.

comment What should Mono-B put in sideboard against GW-Tokens?
Ratchet Bomb really does work wonderfully against tokens.

comment Can Thraben Heretic be used on creatures with undying?
Similarly, Nihil Spellbomb and other cards that move cards from the graveyard to other zones will ruin Undying's day.

comment How is legality of blockers determined?
You do actually look at each creature on its own when evaluating the legality of blockers. The only thing that forces you to block is the requirement to meet the maximum number of requirements.
