What is the best way to print cards for my game? Don't forget to cut the corners in a round shape if you make cards. It may seem only decorative, but it's not. It will prevent the cards from being destroyed too fast. |

Can every game of Solitaire be solved? Even simplier: all aces are on the same column and 2 is above them. |

Settlers of Catan - turn completion @Rebecca I agree, the most important question you have to ask yourself is: are we playing to win or to have fun? If I was playing with you, I'd say such a great move must be played, even if it means I don't win. I'm sure you know better than us how your friends react when you do something like that. |

What is the optimal method to shuffle an organised deck of cards @AlexC I see what you mean, I had this problem too. Then I changed the kind of people I played with ;-) (This, of course is to be taken as un-seriously as possible). Anyway, that's true. You found the flaw of my technique. |

What's the easiest way to prototype a board game design? I personnally use paper for pieces, but your idea of Scrabble tiles is great! I'll use it. It reminds me of a guy I met who did something crazy for the next step. When he had a game that he new was functionnal, he programmed the game with an artificial intelligence to check if it could be easely played. If it was, the next step was to make a prototype... |

Games that play well with a wide range of different numbers of players The 2-players game is totally different. I (also) recommand it to people who are used to the game. I personally love it, but it has nothing in common with the 3-8 players game. |

In 7 wonders when you buy resources from neighbor do you take the card? I agree. Cards are not resources, it's more like a shop. You don't take the shop when you buy things in it. |

Chess variant that allows humans to be competitive vs computers A bigger board would be worst. The AI works simply: it takes every possible move in the next 20-30 turns and chooses the best one for itself. Having more pieces doesn't bother the AI because more possible moves isn't a problem for it, but it is for humans! |
