Where can I purchase extra wood pieces for Settlers of Catan? On the other hand, they charge 20 EUR shipping, so unless I'm going for a very large quantity, it's not really worth it. Otherwise, EUR$1 would cover all I'm missing. |

Where can I purchase extra wood pieces for Settlers of Catan? Hey, googling various things led me to this potentially awesome site, but I don't have Euros, so it may just be something I keep in mind. |

Where can I purchase extra wood pieces for Settlers of Catan? @DanielPalamarchuk Actually, yes. But I'd like to avoid paying $9 for each 24-piece set if possible. It'd end up being almost less expensive to buy a whole new set. And Amazon doesn't seem to hold SoC wood pieces alone. |

Where can I purchase extra wood pieces for Settlers of Catan? @corsiKa Yeah, I might decide to change the rules a bit if we ever get into an actual 10-player game. :) |

Is there a 10 player expansion for Settlers of Catan? Where can I get it? What do you do with gold? |

Is pawn promotion to rook or bishop something that is seen in play? @tttppp: Did you see the new chess.SE site? Just thought you might be interested, since you asked this question. |

What is the memory-style game that has pawn-like tokens covering pictures? P.S. Wikipedia calls it Concentration instead of Memory. |

What is the memory-style game that has pawn-like tokens covering pictures? I remember the holes were about 1/2" in diameter, and there must have been twenty or thirty. The rules were pretty much the same as the rules of Memory (each player in turn takes up two "pawns", and if the pictures underneath are identical, the player keeps the pawns and continues; when the pictures that are uncovered are not identical, the player replaces the pawns, and the next player takes a turn.) I can't remember what the pictures were exactly, but they were idealized and simple depictions of things like rabbits, birthday cakes, etc. |

In Chess, Why Does Black Sometimes Play “Cramped” Openings? @TomAu: I found ELU shortly after this answer (incidentally my first answer ever on SE), so I've kinda fallen off of this site, but I am creepin' up to 1K here! |
