comment Gods have summon sickness?
@Steven: Nobody is saying "All permanents are affected by summoning sickness." We're saying "All permanents have summoning sickness status, but only creatures are affected by it," and to be fair, we shouldn't even be saying that until type-changing effects come into play. By that time, a new player should have learned that other types aren't affected (if only because of their lands). The "Everything has SS" abstraction is only useful when permanents change types to explain why my old manland can attack, but not your new one.

comment Gods have summon sickness?
@GendoIkari: As written in the rules, only creatures have summoning sickness. However, to simplify explaining the interaction between summoning sickness and type-changing effects, some people will say that all permanents have summoning sickness, but only creatures are affected by it. It has the same result, but it makes it easier to explain why they can't tap with their new manland if they activate it, or why they can attack with their newly devoted god.

@IlmariKaronen: PACG is purely cooperative, so in this particular case, being perfectly random isn't absolutely necessary

comment How can I win against Phyrexian Unlife?
Phyrexian Unlife doesn't say "you can't lose if you have 0 or less life." It says "Having 0 or less life doesn't kill you (like it usually does)"

@JonathanHobbs: Yes. The cards are of normal size; exactly the same size as a Magic the Gathering card. It's the deck size that's problematic

revised Does an ability that refers to the name of the ability’s card have to refer to that instance of the card?
Proposed wording would only untap permanents with creature type Soliton (which is none as Soliton isn't a creature type)

comment How do I interrupt a loop after multiple iterations?
@SamIam: Correct. The shortcut your opponent proposed is that he perform only the actions required for his loop and you do nothing. You shortening the shortcut is basically going along for the first 18 iterations, then introducing a new variable. By that time, it's too late for your opponent to change what he did earlier.

revised How is Test of Faith resolved?
Prevention effects are not triggered abilities. If they were, the creature would die before damage was prevented
