comment Has anyone heard of a rule called “19 back” for 0 point hands?
One difficulty with the explanation of a playing hand ... AAAF scores 6 in the count phase for the Aces pairs royal.

comment What hand scores are impossible in Cribbage?
Lorraine raised a possible contradiction to the premise of the question (that 19 was impossible) but her answer contained a factual error that Diego clarified.

comment Can players tap lands for mana with Enchanted Evening and Grand Abolisher in play?
@AlexP Since it can't be done, whatever the original poster's goal was can't be achieved ... it was clever, just against the rules :)

comment When should I add life gain cards to my deck in MTG?
I'd go with that too.

comment What are the odds of drawing a given card after discarding my initial hand?
@Osidan You don't have to add the percentages. The odds are the same as if you had drawn 14 cards. If you draw 7 you get about 40%, if you draw 14 you get about 67%.

comment What are the odds of drawing a given card after discarding my initial hand?
@Osidan I've assumed you have 4 chances to draw that card in your initial 7 out of 60 total.

No, there is no way to send private messages, welcome to the site :)

comment Does “Going Infinite” necessarily end the game?
@ColinD Only if the priority changed to you so that you could legally tap it.

comment How does Vorinclex's second ability work at the time of his death?
@Ender Actual game play is the best source of good questions, IMHO

@thesunneversets Yes, that's it exactly.

comment How do you tell the difference between Alpha and Beta Star Trek CCG?
T'Pan is listed in the cards noted in my original answer.

comment How do you tell the difference between Alpha and Beta Star Trek CCG?
The black boarder cards are exclusively referred to as "Limited", and white boarder as "Unlimited". Only the Unlimited are affected by the question of Alpha or Beta :)

comment Does “prevent all damage to target creature” save the other creatures in a gang block?
+! since +1 doesn't seem like enough!

comment Can players tap lands for mana with Enchanted Evening and Grand Abolisher in play?
@StevenStadnicki Presumably ... I would even say costs in general (can you prevent a sacrifice to pay costs? I don't think so but you might be able to prevent an activation before a sacrifice), but it's well beyond my expertise to speculate on design decisions :-)

comment Can players tap lands for mana with Enchanted Evening and Grand Abolisher in play?
@StevenStadnicki Grand Abolisher is preventing activating the activated mana ability per 605.3 but if the ability were activated, it could not be countered per 605.3b

@StevenStadnicki 605.3b An activated mana ability doesn’t go on the stack, so it can’t be targeted, countered, or otherwise responded to. Rather, it resolves immediately after it is activated.

comment What general strategy exists for countering a white swarm/pump deck?
Adding more content is gooder not badder :) Info on how faster format decks might fare against WW is helpful.

@DForck42 Hopefully my edits help clear that up.

comment When did big creatures in Magic stopped having a mantainance cost?
Performing a gatherer search for all creatures with power >= 7 I discovered a great number of creatures that fit with your premise. I also found a lot of counterexamples covering a wide time frame. I've voted to close as not constructive since I think this is a perception, not an actual design decision and will probably devolve into a debate.

comment How to decide if I should use a counterspell in MTG?
Absolutely @DavidZaslavsky, if my opponent has a horde and tries to cast TC ... uh yeah ... good idea to counter it. If he's looking at an empty battlefield ... not so important.
