Lo'oris, it depends in your definition of cooperative games. Remember that different people play different games for different purposes. In Carcassone everyone can "win", or a couple among players, or any number of players. The game does not require a sum-zero approach. Some people play to maximize points, that's great. Some people play to mess with others, again great. Some people want to create huge castles, again that's fantastic...
