Is this really a recommendation question?? OP is asking if he can play a game with the board that he just finished made. maybe a game (a fan game?) has an input on a carcassonne finished board....

comment Ticket to Ride house rule to help players with short destination tickets
not an answer, but you are playing it too social. if nobody blocks another one routes, then the long routes will almost win.

comment Is War actually a game?
Wouldn't the answer be: yes is a game because our faq and meta said it? The question is not bad, but I don't know what type of answer are you specting...

comment In Puerto Rico, what is the significance of coins being put each round on people that are not chosen?
I will also add, that is another way to put money on the game, since the only way to get money is trading or having a factory.

comment In Canasta, may I discard a card of a rank I have melded?
Unless I'm missing something in the translation, the answer would be yes. Could you expand this a little??

comment Improved wording for dealing out cards
+1 usually if best if you clarify the rules the most so non-english speakers can deal with it easily.

According to the actual fact, this question wouldn't fall under the shopping question type?

watch out that flagging at kdice sometimes makes some weird situations, as who really flag first...or who should take 3 or 4 position...

comment Shipping goods on an empty vessel in Puerto Rico
wow, we played bad it also.. And I have to check the rules on Board Game arena and BrettspielWelt, since I don't think there are good there (or Maybe it never happen??). add the clarification on the side note of the rules: "She chooses the sugar and loads her 6 sugar barrels on the 7 space ship (she may not choose the 5 space ship as she could not load all 6 sugar)"

comment Shipping goods on an empty vessel in Puerto Rico
quote: "you must choose the largest ship possible if you have more goods than will fit in the remaining empty boats" why? maybe you want the smallest ship for some reason??

comment Can I decide not to use all the power of a plant in Power Grid?
In fact, this is the case when you have surplus power. OP has enough power to all his cities, has all the needed cities, but only want to power some of them.

comment What if there is more than one doctor?
This is the third rulebook about this game. The problem I'm facing is that I have the "argentinian" version of the game, that has no further clarification. But after some research, we found that one of the university titles has medicine written on it..

comment Is there a penalty for misplaying?
Since this game is a fun family game, and is so easy, we have penalties for: asking if it is your turn to play, playing a wrong card, and also taking to much time just staring at the board (prob you don't know who turn it is)...
