What are the drawbacks of an automatic card shuffler? I proposed some edits to focus on the differences, from the above questions, but it's still unclear to me if anything new might be provided in answers to this question. In particular, the [Please recommend a good shuffling machine] (boardgames.stackexchange.com/questions/2605/…) answer---though not accepted---seems applicable. Maybe OP could edit more, making the question even more specific about sort of answer is desired. |

Do we have Go endgame tablebases, just like Chess? And, after writing this answer last night, I woke up to this article in my inbox: [usgo.org/resources/downloads/Supercomputer%20Go.pdf] |

Are enchantments and artifacts considered spells? If you think Cancel's good, you should check out Counterspell |

What is the optimal method to shuffle an organised deck of cards Yeah. I've never used one, but the reviews on Amazon were mixed. One in particular complained that it didn't work well on MTG cards, as they're slightly smaller than typical playing cards. |

What is the optimal method to shuffle an organised deck of cards Though, I think a lot of people have a bad habit when wash-shuffling of just moving the cards around together without mixing them. Don't do that, and you'll be fine. |

When should I take a curse in response to Torturer? Excellent point about leaning toward discard in the beginning of the game. Assume no removal, a curse you take in the beginning will come up every time you reshuffle for the rest of the game! Deck size is also an important (related) factor. In the beginning, smaller deck -> more reshuffling -> each curse in your deck has a greater effect. This is my favorite answer so far, but I'm not quite ready to accept yet. |

When should I take a curse in response to Torturer? Your last comment is spot on, exactly the question I want answered, but the bullet points only seem to cover the cases where it's obvious one way or the other. How do you judge that trade-off? |

What is a good opening for Go on a 13x13 board? @BlueRaja-DannyPflughoeft Controlling the center is always desirable in a 19x19 game, but usually not possible. If you actually can control the center early in the game, you are on the path to a big victory. However, if you try to do that, in most games you'll find that you don't actually control it. |

Can I use a reaction card in response to Minion being used for +2 coins? I've seen beginners get confused with playing vs revealing reactions (wanting to draw 2 cards for revealing a moat). Just keeping the terms consistent. |
