Unlike MtG most Dominion cards don't have costs, and if a card has you do more than one thing, you just do them in order. In Magic (and I'm stretching myself here--not that good at Magic rules), the entire card would resolve or not at one time. In Dominion, it's like every item on a played card is put on the stack one at a time, and all players get "priority" to check for reactions, then everything resolves before the next item on the played card goes on the stack.

@C0D3BR34K3R I still don't really think of it as nesting. It can be, as you say, in the middle of resolving an action card--which is technically nesting, you're right, --but at a maximum depth of 1. Reactions themselves will be sequential. You can choose to use more than one reaction in response to a specific event, but then you choose the order and you do them sequentially. For the Graverobber (or any Remodel variant) trashing the cultist, there's just a triggered event (Cultist: +3 cards when trashed) that goes off when you trash the cultist.

@userØØ7 it sounds like the rules in the upper image are exactly what @ bwarner describes in the other answer.

If possible, this question should be edited to be more general.

Sorry, the FAQ specifically lists "puzzles" as off-topic.

Maybe tag:etiquette? Might be worth creating a group-dynamics tag.

comment Are weighted games in Goko Dominion adventures winnable by sheer strategy?
I think this site is a better place for this question than Arqade. I'm sure we have more Dominion experts (at least per capita).

@KarlKnechtel Yes, the number of Colonies should equal the number of Provinces.

comment Game Design in Schools
Interesting question, but it doesn't really fit into our format here which is focused on "practical, answerable questions" rather than questions that are "open-ended" and invite a lot of opinions and discussion. You might have more luck on BGG.

@SocioMatt I think this is an area of overlap and the question is probably fine on either SE.

I don't think shame is necessary. There's no hard feelings! It's just a misunderstanding about the purpose and use of this site.

comment Highest difficulty and creativity Sokoban map families
Welcome! Interesting question, but I'm not sure it's on topic here. Is sokoban ever played as a board game, not a computer game? This site is not the right place for computer games (see our sister site for that). Also, your question seems to be more of a call for research than a "practical answerable question", take a look at the FAQ.

@Anna that's very strange as your comment is correctly attributed.
