Can somebody continue a road after it has been cut off/separated from its nearest city? Changed city to settlement, the question is really about settlements, suggesting the question is about cities adds a specific nature to the question that is confusing. |

In Seafarers of Catan, are there any special rules for ships or harbors in lakes? I have some agree with your comment. However, the OP asked about the situation where one individual water hex was entirely surrounded by land and whether any rules or errata existed. In that example it seems weird to apply the standard seafarers rules such as being able to move the last ship in the long line. I think in the example (one hex completely surrounded by land) that these rules make sense. I find the seafarers Catan variant good fun but one of the least consistent of the Catan additions as per this link boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/18878/item/448148#item448148 |

Beginner Power Grid strategy + 1 for most important rule for beginners to realise. Underused cities are a massive disadvantage in Power Grid. |

What is the best version of Settlers of Catan for a group of people who have never played before? I also find that if you play the first game with roll 7 lose half your cards over 7 but don't move the robber then that removes an element of the game enables a quicker flow. You need to add the robber in quickly once they get hooked. |

What are the drawbacks of an automatic card shuffler? @DForck42 If you can do 8 perfect shuffles you can restore a deck to it's original state youtube.com/watch?v=7lNk7bfkFq8 |

What is the optimal method to shuffle an organised deck of cards I like this idea but it is going to reduce the lifetime of the cards which in games like TtR which, in my experience, tend to get pretty badly handled. |

What is the optimal method to shuffle an organised deck of cards I am looking for a trade-off between fast and thorough. With Ticket To Ride you have potentially a very organised deck and a short turn around as the game has effectively stopped while you are waiting for a shuffle. |

What is the optimal method to shuffle an organised deck of cards Agree with the answer, I have amended the question. The point I am trying to get at is not the nature of randomness but the most efficient manner in which to get a deck that appears random. |
