When I put the robber on someone in Settlers of Catan, does the resource I take HAVE to be random? Counterexample! |

How long does it take to play Le Havre with different numbers of players? Humming the Jeopardy song? I pull it up on m.YouTube :) |

When is it ok to king-make? I don't like unnecessarily long games, so trading with the leading player (eg in Catan) is fine with me. Sometimes I have to swap cards under the table to avoid heckling from others, though! |

Pieceworker and Landing Net @ire: it must be my math.SE upbringing, wherein motivation/personal effort are encouraged. I'm drafting a meta question, but am realizing that I'm not exactly sure what the problem is. Did the OP research the answer? That would be nice to know in the body, and would have saved me 6-7 minutes (of my valuable time! wink). Are we expecting the developer to visit BG.SE and personally answer the question? I've seen such things on MO, but the sites and topics are quite different... |

Pieceworker and Landing Net Surely you could have researched this on BGG the same as I... |

How does Intrigue change your general Dominion strategy? Of all the combinations of cards to avoid, [Peddler] + [Swindler] isn't in my top 100! |

Any tactical skirmish or dungeon crawler board game that allows models to change other models positions for reaction fire opportunities? Link functionality (might as well...) |

Ora et Labora. Ideas for an alternative 2 player game ending rule? It might just be a matter of taste, but I prefer the way that player interactions are affected by "until there are X (maybe 0) left". Navegador has a "whichever comes first" end condition. |

Ora et Labora. Ideas for an alternative 2 player game ending rule? Two options that we have considered: 1) randomly removing a tile (card?) or two from eah round, or 2) playing until X tiles (cards) remain, where X is greater than zero. |

Is it advantageous to go first in Dominion? "You can take a province..." doesn't really hold water. Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but it doesn't seem like player one is consistently first to go when 7(11) provinces have been taken... |
