comment In Pandemic can I immediately cure disease to return to the 7 card limit?
It should be automatic, not atomic.

Discarding a card is not an action, and it's certainly not atomic.

comment Catching an illegal move too late in Castles of Burgundy
A similar thing happened the last time I played Trajan (same designer - go figure!). I gave myself an unintended perk from a bonus tile (I took a full "build" action when I was only allowed to move a worker there from my supply, if that makes sense). We decided that my opponent would get the same opportunity, or I would downgrade my next "full" build action, whichever came first.

comment House rules to speed up Citadels play time?
Two minutes on a decision is waaaaaay too much!

comment Where can you post new Dominion card rule suggestions?
Do not send them to Donald or RGG! There are many reasons, but the biggest one is that most big publishers return unsolicited material unoped.

comment How would changing the timing of the “starter” affect strategy/tactics?
Good answer. I was trying to think through big-picture stuff of how this would affect things on a hand-by-hand basis, but had ignored the end game subtleties.

comment Use exactly 36 combinations instead of two dice
Without getting into how much I disagree with your motivations here (besides mentioning it), a good solution would be the Clay Crucible variant. After initial setup, there is no randomness.

comment Is Mr. Jack Pocket balanced?
Why does it seem that way? So far we aren't really analyzing anything...

comment Handling dwindling supplies in Splendor
Note - there is a limit of ten tokens per player, to be reconciled at the end of each turn. (I'm sure you know this - just leaving it for future visitors)

comment Can you play a new player game of Carcassonne w/o farms?
"farms are like any other feature" - except in when they are scored, how they are scored, and how easy it is to determine control at a glance

comment Good counter to Possession in Dominon: Alchemy
Your first two paragraphs don't really answer the question; they are more of a hey, Possession isn't THAT bad...

math.SE is probably an entirely better source than puzzling.SE - though this could easily be a math homework problem (in abstract algebra...)

comment How do you score 5,5,5,5 in-hand with a non-ten, non-face card turned up?
For what it's worth, you can count the pairs with the binomial coefficient: "4 choose 2" (because it takes two to make a pair). Likewise, you can count the 15's with "4 choose 3".

comment In Android: Netrunner, is there a bias towards a particular sub-type of ICE in corp decks?
How would you possibly measure that, such as to take an average? I definitely hear where you're coming from - it just seems impossible for anyone to do much besides "this is what my deck uses". Maybe someone could aggregate data from tournament play? NetrunnerDB? But you'd get a lot of losing decks in there, which I'm sure you're not trying to emulate.

You can't really expect an answer to anything of the form "do corp decks tend to ..."! But check it: sneakdoor.com

What contains 15 cards? The base game is 5x3=15.
