comment What happens if you submit orders for another player?
Absolutely. I was just assuming (without warrant) that if Calhamer did it, it was probably allowed.

So Calhamer's Flying Dutchman is completely outside the rules?

@Jefromi, you'd be surprised what's allowed in Diplomacy games sometimes. I'll make an edit to show the precedent I'm reading about.

comment Square cards larger than 70mm (2¾″)
@warren, no need for that -- this game's about to go to print with large square cards.

comment Square cards larger than 70mm (2¾″)
@Anzeo, the square grid of the game is very important. Each square may have apples, triremes, and money on it. To break up that square into three different cards would be hard to reconcile with the square grid nature.

comment What is it about Twilight Struggle that keeps it so consistently highly rated on BGG?
A question like this is likely to get many different answers that are all "correct". On BGG that might be a good question, but around here we usually like questions that have a single, objective answer.

This is a very open-ended question.

comment Can a solo game be converted into a cooperative game (and vice versa)?
I don't think having opposing factions makes for a cooperative game, but rather a competitive game.

comment Game for a blind person
Normally I'd say this kind of question would be too open-ended, but there are so few deep strategy games that don't require sight.

@WojciechGac, once you've submitted it to boardgamegeek, post a link to it here for all us curious people.

comment Square cards larger than 70mm (2¾″)
For this game, there are a great many possible squares, with only a few in use at any time. Tiles ended up adding too much volume to the product.

comment What are some good games or techniques for helping kids learn to “lose gracefully”?
Play games that have intermediate goals. Maybe you didn't win the Crown of Erebor, but you did acquire the Scepter of Saint Stephen, and you became President of Botswana.

comment Players who can't seem to follow the rules — What can be done?
Consider the question posed: Is there anything a game designer can do to help them understand how the game is played? It's not about someone who doesn't want to follow the rules, it's about someone who doesn't know they're not following the rules.

revised What is this game with multiplying aliens and random weapons?
In the hope that this site is still around years from now, I've changed a relative date to an absolute one.
