comment Race for the Galaxy vs. San Juan and Puerto Rico
I wouldn't call Puerto Rico group solitaire. Its close, but you really need to keep an eye on the other players to play well, like what their growing and what buildings they have. Now Dominion with no attack or interactions, THAT's pretty close to group solitaire IMHO. :D

I'd be very interested if you have anything else to say about Race For The Galaxy in relation to both of them. :D boardgames.stackexchange.com/questions/2702/…

comment Limiting the number of silver and gold cards available in Dominion
@Mag actually we aren't having any issues, I was just curious. I like to ask questions about why rules are certain ways because I end up learning a TON about the game's mechanics, how it really was designed to work, and why. :)

Is there any meaning of the letters besides to identify them? When people ask what they mean I always have to confess that I have no idea.

comment I have the Dominion base set only, in what order should I buy the expansions?
I do suppose potions make things a fair bit more complex as you have to balance your quantities of 2 different resources. But is this really the only thing? Its very action centered, which could also make things more complex. It seems to be the expansion that's hardest for newer players to like, whether intentional or not.
