comment Negative and Infinite ATK in Yugioh
Several games do allow attack values to be negative for purposes of calculating 'boosts' needed to get those values back to positive territory, but then just clamp them to zero for effect purposes. This is how Magic handles negative power on a creature, for instance: a creature that is, say, a -2/2 will deal zero damage (not '-2 damage') to an opponent or to other creatures , but a Giant Growth (+3/+3) will only make it a 1/5.

comment Victory in Yugioh by Unusual Means
Calling these things 'glitches' seems like a misnomer to me. This is a card game, and one in which the rules are easily malleable by the designers; any 'non-standard' win conditions are there because they were explicitly put there by the designers, not because they happen to be some bizarre accident of the rules.

comment How are Swindler's effects resolved in a multiplayer game?
Since the question is of the form 'does X happen or does Y happen', maybe you could be a little more explicit about which of the answers applies in the specific scenario given? 'Yes' seems kind of vague here, and while I think I understand what you mean I'm still not 100% sure...

comment How to properly play activated abilities of twilight drover and other creatures?
Easy +1, of course, but a tiny caveat: abilities can also be countered for lack of a target, the same as spells. For instance, suppose there were a card that read 'sacrifice a creature: ~this~ deals 3 damage to target creature and 3 damage to that creature's controller'. Then if e.g. you sacrificed a creature targeting an opponent's Grizzly Bears, and they bounced the Bears in response, then they wouldn't take 3 damage because the ability is countered.

@SamIam That seems clear from the statement right at the start of 716.2b: 'Each other player'.

comment Is the four move checkmate the fastest way to win a game of chess?
Also, of course, the fastest mate for White is in 2 1/2 moves (rather than the 3 1/2 given in the opening post) by making a 'blank' move and then following this in reverse: 1. a3 f6, 2. e4 g5, 3. Qh5#.

What was your specific holding? That would be useful here.

comment Does an ability that increase the number of creatures affect the instant or sorcery that triggers it?
Minor nitpickery: those are rulings at the bottom of the Gatherer page, not errata (which would be changes made to a card's official Oracle text to cover unintended behavior etc.)

comment What chance do I have of my foil being a rare or mythic?
Anecdotally, there's roughly 1 foil rare per pack. A few comments on the thread at forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=263332 suggest that mythics are about 1::7 with rares and that the ratio rare:uncommon:common is about 1:3:5, more or less.

comment Implementing a map exploration mechanic cheaply
What do you mean by 'costs associated with producing such a mechanic'? It's hard to imagine a board game whose board or pieces could be printed for very much less than the cardboard components of Carcassonne (meeples are a different matter, of course) and the production values will strongly influence how your game is ultimately perceived.

comment Does a player with a recurring action need to remind other players each time it would take affect?
It's important to note that all of these are floor rules - they're not part of the rules of the game, but part of the tournament structure around the game. If these are games you're playing with your nephew, I would encourage you to continually remind him but also to devise some way of making sure that he remembers - for instance, putting a die on top of his library so he can't draw a card without looking around to see if there's anything that would be triggering in his upkeep.

comment Does an exiled Aetherling come back into play untapped?
Note that this is still affected by effects that indicate how permanents enter the battlefield; if your opponent controls a card like Urabrask or Blind Obedience which says that 'creatures [your opponents control] enter the battlefield tapped' then Aetherling will enter play tapped when coming out of exile and not just when played from your hand.
