It's more that some players I've played with will counter offer a reasonable (from the state of the board) 1:1 with an unreasonable 1:2/3 (No, I want 2/3 of X, not 1, from you). Your suggestions would eliminate that. But it's not speed but brutality I'm trying to cut out. |

Which resources are better at the start of a Catan game? I'd love to +1 this, but whenever I play someone who goes for Wheat and ore I almost always get owned. Despite this being my favourite tactic too. |
