What does it mean to check behind? The other answer says that it is checking behind when all players before you have checked. If there is someone behind you still to act, that is not (what I know as) checking behind. |

What are “Outs” in Texas Hold'em Poker? I would like to reiterate that you can never remove outs because they might have been burned, folded, etc. With a freshly shuffled deck, the chance that the first card dealt is the Ace of spades is 1 in 52. If you re-shuffle the deck, remove 26 cards from the deck, and then deal the top card, the chance that it is the Ace of spades is still 1 in 52. |

What's the difference between ante and blinds? Depending on the structure of the game, there may be 2 equal blinds, or only 1 blind. Also, you can't say that blinds put more or less in the pot than antes - that depends on the amount of each. |

What do I need to consider when creating a new card game variant? p.s. If you decide to talk about/play this game, I really love the tongue-in-cheek name "Gamblin' Cribbage Hold 'Em". |
