Should we take good cards out for better cards while sideboarding (magic 2014 rules update)? @deworde: Alex P discusses the extreme case - Battle of Wits deck - pretty well in his answer. For a 60 card tutor deck, everything I said still applies. You still want to maximise the chance that you'll either draw your key cards, or draw the right tutor. |

Why is Homelands considered among the worst Magic expansions? @thesunneversets: Sure, Legends wasn't an all-time great. But at least it put new ideas into the pool; Homelands didn't. (The legendary mechanic wasn't revised until much later, and it still owes a lot to the original. And I submit Planechase in evidence that Enchant World is not dead, and should not be. But we're moving off Homelands, so I'll shut up.) |

Why is Homelands considered among the worst Magic expansions? @thesunneversets: I don't think it's just the few "marquee" cards... Legends was at least exploring new design space. Multi-coloured creatures, cantrips, Enchant Worlds, Legendary cards - all new and interesting at the time. While few Legends cards are still relevant, most of its mechanical ideas are now staples. Homeland had no such innovation; its few new ideas were specific anti-strategy targeting. |

Is Dimir's millstone strategy viable in Gatecrash sealed deck? If not, what can they do instead? Welcome to the site Jonathan. While I back this approach in draft, in sealed deck I don't think it can be counted on - there's too little chance of drawing evaders and finishers. |

Is Dimir's millstone strategy viable in Gatecrash sealed deck? If not, what can they do instead? Made question less dependant on the prerelease (which is time-dependent), and more about Gatecrash generally. |
