Which to me means a card going in the graveyard loses its face down status (otherwise cards with Unearth and other such things would lose it from Ixidron, and I'm fairly sure they do not).

It seemed so intuitive to me (though I think I'd seen it before while browsing for a different ruling) that it just didn't cross my mind to look it up.
