Interesting boardgames to play with children. @Lohoris. There are definitely different playing styles in Uno. The nasty cards have little impact at the beginning of the game, so some people prefer to hoard them till the end, when they can use them to better effect. This is risky, though, as another player may go out, leaving you with a bunch of high-point cards. On the other hand, having no nasty cards means you can't protect yourself when someone plays one on you. It's a question of balance, and different players have different strategies. |

What is the best tournament format for Cripple Mr Onion? That's it. I didn't have enough rep to create a new tag. It's a real game, and I've played it a few times (with the Fat Pack, an eight-suit card deck). But I've never played the gambling variant, and I've never played with all the modifiers, and I've never run a tournament of any kind. |
