comment Does “Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth” work on lands in libraries?
A good example is gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/… which explicitly says it affects cards not on the battlefield.

comment Is it impossible to pay off-color mana costs in EDH?
If you were to Donate a Celestial Dawn to someone in Commander, who's commander wasn't white, would that mean they couldn't cast any spells which required anything other than Colourless mana?

comment Does Essence Scatter affect Artifact Creatures?
Was this the case in the past for Remove Soul and Summon spells? As then Artifact Creatures were not Summon spells, while Summon Elf would be a summon spell.

comment Must a “target creature” be on the battlefield?
I liked the old "Enchant dead creature" of animate dead. The new wording is so convoluted!

comment Do opposite counters coexist or cancel each other out?
@ProductionValues Rock Hydra doesn't take damage, it prevents the damage and removes counters instead. This means infect is irrelevant as the damage has already been prevented.

comment Do opposite counters coexist or cancel each other out?
As is answered in the linked question, there is a special rule which cancels out +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters. If you had +1/+0 and -1/-0 counters, they would not cancel out.

How did you write all that so quickly? :)

comment roulette (changed rules) skill or luck?
All you are really proposing is the current game of roulette, where you can choose to be the house, or the player. You obviously always choose to be the house.

comment How can I keep track of which outbreaks I've resolved?
True, in that case you can use something else other than a 4th cube to mark the ones you've already resolved the outbreak from.

comment Is It Possible To Win 2-Player Agricola Without Taking Wood?
This does not provide an answer to the question. To critique or request clarification from an author, leave a comment below their post - you can always comment on your own posts, and once you have sufficient reputation you will be able to comment on any post.

comment When is my earliest opportunity to destroy a creature I couldn't counter?
That's the way it worked in Magic 4thEdition, but since the introduction of the stack both players get a chance to add things to the stack every time something resolves.

comment When a card asks you to flip a coin is it against the rules to use a two headed coin?
If you were talking about Munchkin, then it would probably be allowed, since arguing over the rules is essentially half the game. It's definitely against the rules in magic!

The expansion also has 15 cards!

comment In Catan, how to ensure nobody lies when monopoly card is played?
How can a skilled person avoid being caught? All cards going into your hand are public knowledge, or known to the person you are robbering. All cards leaving your hand are public knowledge, or known to the person taking it. Once someone says they have 0 of something, people just have to track how much they have. They will be caught eventually. (Unless they never spend it, and no-one happens to steal it using a robber, but then what was the point in cheating?)

comment How do “Run” Events interact with effects that change the server you're running on?
Interestingly Demolition Run doesn't actually have a "if successful" wording on it. Does this mean Demo run triggers on any server you are redirected to?

comment What is Astrochain and how does it work?
@AnsisMalins you don't score them all in the same turn, but having scored one, you can score any others you draw from your hand. This means you don't need to leave them exposed for a turn in a remote server.

comment How compatible are the two versions of Netrunner?
@AllenGould Well, the original netrunner gives the corp virus counters, which persist even if the program is trashed. Android netrunner puts the virus counters on the program itself, and so trashing the program also ends the effect. There is also the extra cost. A lot of cards from original netrunner have been slightly recosted, others are straight reprints.

comment How do creature that exile themselves interact with Whip of Erebos?
Presumably you could also use something like Rainbow Efreet to phase itself out and so not be available to be exiled at the end of the turn?

comment Does a card that affects 'each' creature affect creatures that enter the battlefield after it resolves?
@scenia Well yes, I meant a permanent with +1/+1 to all affects newly created creatures afterwards, but a +1/+1 until end of turn instant will not affect newly created creatures.

comment Unsporting trades in the end-game of settlers of Catan
I'm not saying to do trades which are bad for you, but normally there are many trades offered which are slightly good for one player, and very good for another. If you do those trades with players in lower positions, then you will benefit and you won't leave disgruntled people stuck on 3 settlements.
