I'm a senior Computer Science/Audio Engineering Technology major at Belmont University. My general hobbies include programming, electronics, and music. Long term electronics project would be a fully analog synth, since I just so happen to be a keys a player and a synth enthusiast. Mostly here to learn but would love to soon know enough to be able to help.

comment Cards for Reanimator in Cube
For 540, I have Reanimate, Animate Dead, Exhume as quick reanimation. Diabolic Servitude and Recurring Nightmare are slower, more value driven reanimation cards. Living death can double as a sweeper for black, and Karmic Guide is a good ETB creature effect. So really just 5 dedicated reanimate spells. Then again, I support Splinter Twin as well, so don't want the cube to get too combo heavy.

comment Is there an unofficial term for an artifact that produces mana?
"Mox" is typically a term to itself meaning a 0-cost artifact that produces mana.

comment Cards for Reanimator in Cube
Wasn't sure how to auto-card, so I'll go back and do that if someone can show me the syntax.

comment What happens when a creature with Persist AND Undying dies? ('return to battlefield' issues…)
This property is actually the basis of a fairly powerful modern deck using Mikaeus, the Unhallowed with a persist creature and a sack engine (Sacrifice a creature: x ability). The better known equivalent combination is Melira, Sylvok Outcast instead of Mikaeus.

comment Are gates too slow for constructed play?
Pauper is a very popular format on MTGO, which is where it is mostly played. However, it is still a sanctioned format as there are WotC sponsored tournaments for it there.

Is Pauper considered constructed? If so, then absolutely not.

comment Is there a specified order for abilities on cards, specifically creatures?
Cairn Wanderer is a good place to start for keyword order.

comment Why is Bazaar of Baghdad supposedly such a good card?
The rule when playing Vintage Dredge is "Mull until Bazaar." I've seen players win with only that card in their hand at the start of the game.

comment Can't remember the name of this card game
Did each player have a deck, or was it two decks no matter how many people were playing?

comment Which MTG booster packs have the highest rate of return on investment?
I'd imagine it absolutely is. It also begs the question, are there any sets, out of print or otherwise, that have a higher average value cracked than their purchasable value. From the Vault sets obviously do if you find them at retail, as do some other precon products, but I'm wondering more for boosters.

comment Storing MtG-Cube
You actually probably want to have a full pack or two of matching sleeves with the cube at any given time. With my buddy's cube, we wind up replacing anywhere from 5 to 20 sleeves a night when we sit down to cube with 6 to 8 people.

comment What cards can be used to cheat Eldrazi creatures onto the table?
Only other major competitive deck I think you missed is Doomsday + Shelldock Isle, although that deck is possibly one of the hardest to play in existence.
