comment Does Wrath of God really destroy creatures with shroud?
The common sense answer is wrong in this case because "target" is a keyword with a specific definition in the context of M:tG. Also, I would be hesitant to argue with a judge unless I myself had been certified as one - those nerds know what they're talking about. :)

comment What's a good way to shuffle sleeved cards?
Yep, I still corner riffle but with the cards oriented side by side rather than end to end. It works great!

comment Does Gwent from Witcher 3 take inspiration from existing tabletop games?
I haven't actually played Gwent, but I read up on it a bit, and it seems there are a few broad mechanics it's implementing: 1. Card collection 2. Deck building 3. Tableau building Probably your best option would be to go to boardgamegeek.com and search for games by those tags, but a few come to mind: Magic: the gathering, Android: Netrunner, Dominion, 7 Wonders, Race for the Galaxy.

comment Can Mushin No Shin be played on any card?
Yeah, the key here is that it doesn't advance the card, but rather puts 3 advancement tokens on it - subtle difference, but was a facepalm for me once it was pointed out.

comment How exactly does 'Inside Job' work?
Actually you could probably leave out "typically" until some card breaks the statement. :) I had to double-check whether one already does.

I really like your answer for the quotes and thoroughness, but I think it could benefit from a summary, like: bypass typically only applies to rezzed ice because typically only rezzed ice are encountered.

comment Does anyone know a good way to play Forbidden Island with one player
I would add that this is true of most, if not all cooperative board games.
