I play casual Magic, along with a slew of other board and card games. It seems that every week my board game group and I are trying out something new, so I've had exposure to a variety of systems and types of games. My girlfriend and I also create tournament brackets for the 16 Summoner Wars guilds and play through those. This includes rankings and win/loss records, both for each guild and for her and me. We're nerdy like that.

Why is Trade Secrets banned in EDH or Commander? I was just about to post the fact that EDH isn't WotC moderated. I think this is an important point when it comes to the ban list. |

Why is Trade Secrets banned in EDH or Commander? I agree. I think this card was too "chummy" and was causing severe unfunness when two players worked together to beat the rest of the table. Plus it was played in every blue deck just because of how good the draw was. |

Does Thrumming Stone ripple after ripple @SirDuckduck 100.2a of the Comp Rules says in constructed play that a deck can contain "no more than four of any card." But the rules for EDH are worded differently: 903.5b says that each card "must have a different English name." I think the word "must" would indicate that multiple copies of any card would be illegal. Additionally, I personally feel that Relentless Rats violates the spirit of EDH; I'd be incredibly annoyed if someone did this in an EDH game, and I feel like most other players would, too. |

Does Thrumming Stone ripple after ripple @SirDuckduck If you play an EDH deck with 30 Relentless Rats, you aren't playing an EDH deck. "With the exception of basic lands, no two cards in the deck may have the same English name." |

Dark Confidant and split cards @wesdfgfgd Why not? Blood Scrivener only makes you lose 1 life, not life equal to the CMC. It would be abetter option that Dark Confidant. |
