Will using Nephalia Smuggler save a creature targeted by a destruction spell? Actually, I think for all those cards that say 'target card', then if that card bounced out of the zone it was in the target would still fail to resolve. |

I see: so in general, the takeaway is that cards moving between zones cause new objects to appear, and 'target' refers to an object, not a card, and is chosen at cast time. (Unless, I guess, the effect says 'target card'.) |
