Board games where one player narrowly constrains the other player's next move? @ire_and_curses you're right too (I had "match case" switched on when searching for the term "recommendation" in the FAQ :) So the issue of this Q is now closed (also) as far as I am concerned and I've learned a lesson. Thx for all of you for the patience and feedback (esp. re impartial games and the link to meta). |

Board games where one player narrowly constrains the other player's next move? @bwarner hmm, restricting to Qs with complete answers sounds unnecessarily severe from my current perspective (consider e.g. "When did people first take up playing X?"), but I'm going to trust your judgement, for I am new to this site. |

Board games where one player narrowly constrains the other player's next move? @Pat Ludwig so I have rephrased the question by removing the "Can you recommend any?" part. What remains is an objective question with an answer that can be explained, isn't it? So how do I get you to re-open the question, if applicable? Do you read this and react, or do I have to post an entirely new question, or follow some other modus operandi? Thx from this new-comer to the site. |

Board games where one player narrowly constrains the other player's next move? @Pat Ludwig, worry for not having read the FAQ beforehand. Will do and perhaps re-phrase the question ... BTW, the FAQ does not mention your stance on recommendation questions explicitly, so you should perhaps update. And finding more games of this type is an "actual problem that I face" ... :) |
