Are weighted games in Goko Dominion adventures winnable by sheer strategy? @Jefromi: I'd say that a strategy with a 30% chance of winning despite the handicap would be "viable." Anything lower than that, and you (at best) playing the computer and waiting for an unlikely foul-up. At worst, the game can be literally unwinnable - or close enough to make no difference. |

Are weighted games in Goko Dominion adventures winnable by sheer strategy? I'm aware this question might be out of place here - it's about the specific goko implementation and design, rather than about the game proper. I think it's still on-topic, but I could see it being moved to Arqade. |

Do you need spare actions available to play Throne Room? Note that because Throne Room is all one single action, playing Throne Room on anything giving +Actions will net you more Actions than simply playing that card twice would. So playing TR on a Village would leave you with +2 cards and +4 actions, while merely playing 2 Villages from your hand would leave you with only +2 cards and +3 actions. And TR on a +1 Card/+1 Action cantrip might be the only way to pull off a +2 Action effect in some Kingdoms... |

Is 3-4 player Labyrinth endgame necessarily a deadlock? @user1873: Oh, holy expletive! Yeah, the "aMAZEing" pun is part of the name in some editions, and yes, I've been misreading the rules completely. Well, I sure feel sheepish... Shall I delete the question? |
