Proper use of Dominion card Upgrade I also use upgrade to clean out curses... Probably never would use it to destroy an action card (well, maybe coppersmith...) |

How can I get my heavy card stock game board to lie flat? +1 Plexiglas is a fine idea for weighing down (and flattening) a warped board. The one problem with it is when you are playing a tile (or modular) based game, like Road Kill Rally (boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/65225/road-kill-rally). Having to lift the Plexiglas each turn sucks. How do we straighten warped cardboard? |

What's a good table-topping material for tile-based games? Does a tablecloth help? Sometimes this works for me, sometimes it doesn't. What about a large bread/cutting board? not beautiful to look at, but might work also. |

What cooperative board games are there that I could safely play with my wife? Unfortunately, my wife doesn't drink, but I will add this to the guys game night rules. As an odd aside, I just two minutes ago set the game up to teach my wife to play. I'll let you know how it goes... |

Board games for two players @gomad - Ascension is not a CCG. It's more on par with Thunderstone, in that it's a deck building game. Pretty good game at that, although I've only played the 2 player version, it's marked as 2-4 players. Still I would play this with 2 players, and Thunderstone with 3+. |

How to eliminate advantages gained from the seating position of inferior players? @Sparr - Again, it depends on the game. For example, When playing Puerto Rico, the 3 & 4th place players have a distinct starting advantage over the first (and second). I can see where having the least experienced on your right would be helpful also. My suggestion would be to roll dice for seating position, or have opposite players move 1 space right, just mix it up. |

Interaction in Race For The Galaxy I'm definitely in the "Card Denial" camp. One of the best parts of this game is holding/discarding the cards that my opponents need. |
