By day (and night, far too often) I'm the Operations Manager at Digital Motorworks.
Most of the rest of the time I'm with my family or gaming, or thinking about gaming.
Currently playing a 14th level Shifter Paladin in a 4th edition DnD campaign. I'm also just starting to run a campaign of my own.
Willing to play boardgames whenever I can find people willing to lose to me :)

What cooperative board games are there that I could safely play with my wife? @Sandra - I have played this game with about 8 people. A couple of them definitely had reactions like yours. The rest were all eager to play again to see a different permutation. The game is different every time. Luckily there are plenty of games out there for everyone to enjoy. |

What's the proper etiquette when a Euchre trick is earned? @Michael Euchre's happen all the time. If you aren't getting euchred occasionally you aren't taking enough risks IMHO. Usually it becomes obvious pretty fast if there is potential for a Euchre. Generally one person will be able to figure it out if the hand can end early and will toss their cards in demonstrating such. Very rarely are they wrong. An example - on the first hand, a led Ace goes thru. The caller tosses their hand in showing 4 trump such that he can guarantee that he will take 3 tricks. He was hoping his partner could cover his off-nine. |

Power plants in Power Grid @Michiel definitely, you need to be able to eyeball your likely turn. It's a hard skill to develop, and the first turn for a newbie is likely to be rough. Aiming a bit low on the power plant to allow for some room to screw up is probably a good idea. |

Domaine - How does the Chancery work? Just to save anyone else this trouble. This isn't a question about Dominion :) I wasted a bit of time looking for the Chancery card in Dominion just now.... It might be time to go to bed... |
