Is there much strategy and planning in 7-Wonders or is mostly luck? I agree with you when talking about trading posts. I noticed that when player builds resources cards, he collects more points more often than playing without them. If you build resource card you can get additional money and points from your neighborhoods and from trading cards you gain nothing - just spending your money. And it is always better to build up resources earlier as you can while other users are lacking of them. P.S. @Drew Hoskins you don't need to -1 comments only if opinion is different from yours. |

How does Le Havre compare with Agricola? "Le Havre was an attempt to improve the Agricola experience for really hardcore gamers" That's what I'm looking for :-) Le Havre now in my top of the "Must have" list :-) |

What are some good 8 player games? I was thinking should I split answer to separate items but decided not look like reputation-whore who is posting every sentence as new answer :-) (no offense to anybody). |

Interesting boardgames to play with children. @Lo'oris I'm not surprised that you can't find any tactics here :-D |

Interesting boardgames to play with children. @CrazyJugglerDrummer I tend not to give all glory to randomness. Of course it makes big impact to the game (like randomness does in all card games). But for example when I play Uno with same company again and again, I can guess the moves what they are willing to do. Every person has its own playing style (me too), so there is where the strategy and tactics starts. |

Interesting boardgames to play with children. @Lo'oris, if there is no strategy or tactics then why some players wins more often than others? Personally I don't believe in luck :-) |
