Can I cast Killing Glare with X=0 while no creatures with zero power are on the battlefield? Presumably the card would work the way the OP wants if it was worded something more like "If target creature has power X or less, destroy it." |

Can a sacrifice be used to pay for more than one effect? I like the dollar analogy, +1! |

Do I own a token that I create under somebody else's control? There used to be a bunch of decks that abused the old rules with Hunted creatures (e.g. Hunted Dragon, Hunted Phantasm) and Brand. A neat idea, but not really in the true spirit of the cards :) |

Do I own a token that I create under somebody else's control? Thanks Alex. I found the link and was about to make the same edit, but you beat me to it! |

In Bridge, Do You Count Defensive Points In the Opponents' Suit When Making a Takeout Double? Partner doesn't know for sure that you're going down 3-5; Bridge is a game of pushing your luck and interfering with your opponents' bidding space; and I continue to stand by my assertion that, in casual rubber Bridge, sometimes a partnership would rather risk going down in flames (and, if that happens, hope to recoup it with a slam the next hand) than just hand the match to the opponents by not even trying to bid. Yes, I'm aware that's controversial, I've gotten a couple of downvotes already from suggesting it, but I totally stand by it. |

Help me identify this card game with secret, changing rules When I played Mao I couldn't see any reason not to try to collect the entire deck, so I just accrued a continuous stream of penalties until people told me I was ruining the game and maybe I should leave. I was probably being a big jerk, but on the other hand it might be worth giving people some kind of advice that picking up cards is bad before letting them join in... |

Which alternative methods of choosing a starting player actually WORK? "New player wants to go last" is a common enough phenomenon that it merits an auto+1 from me... Unconnectedly, the latest game I bought, Dungeon Petz, gives the starting player token to "the player who last fed a pet", which is a nice addition to the collection. |

What was the largest flop in board game history? Oh yeah, I vaguely remember Spellfire looking completely appalling. But then some would say Yu-Gi-Oh is Magic with all the good stuff removed too, and that seems to have done very well for itself... |
