comment Bridge bidding - how do I decide whether or not to bid 1NT with weakness in a particular suit?
I think you are looking at this the wrong way, if you bid nt your partner should normally be running the auction

comment In bridge, can “good” players get away with bidding “light”?
also experts are more likely to have more advanced bidding systems and so will have more information in certain situations

comment Should I respond to 1 NT in a suit or NT holding 17 HCP and a void?
+1 staymen first is also a possibility to reveal a potential heart fit, but I don't think it buys you much here assuming strong NT

comment In Descent SE can you sell search cards after use?
though it is then odd that you can't keep unused cards between campaigns

+1 and you can always go back to clubs after bidding a new suit

@Aryabhata disagree that you need to see West's hand, if you are actually playing as East then you wouldn't. seeing North and East's hands would be useful though, but I think we can assume that either there is a better suit or defense has no hope

comment In bridge, what are some exceptions to “second hand low?”
@Aryabhata you would play second hand high if I led an ace? ;) on a more serious note 'high' and 'low' are fuzzy, honors are not
