I'm Paul Lammertsma, co-founder and CTO of Pixplicity and co-founder of CrimsonBase. I occasionally speak at Android conferences and am a big advocate of open software.
I did both my bachelor and master at Utrecht University's Institute of Information and Computing Sciences.
I enjoy developing in many languages, including Java, C++, VB.net and PHP. Much of my published open-source work is based upon research during the course of following classes and completing projects in my master, Game and Media Technology.

Alternative rules for SimCity: The Card Game I picked it up recently after about 10 years. After the first game I already had some ideas for improvement (dealing out the council members pre-game and having separate stacks for Stage I+II and Stage III+IV). There's something to it that just makes me excited. I know there's got to be a great game in there somewhere, but I always end up annoyed by the rules. If there as enough interest, I'd make this a wiki to hear suggestions, but it seems the game never got a big following. |

Good games for playing in a bar I've actually played Liar's Dice (I know it as "Poker Dice") in a bar; it works very well. Beware that you take your own cup along, because bars only tend to have, well, glasses! |
