I'm an evil despot with plans to rule the world...
Well, OK, I lied.
I'm actually a Java programmer, although I also dabble in PHP, C#, and C++.
Likes:
- C#
- Java
- PHP
Dislikes:
- Maven
- VB.NET
- Maven (once wasn't enough)
- JSP
- Maven (twice wasn't enough)
- WPF
- LINQ
If I'm on SO, it's likely because I'm waiting for another Maven compile.

Can you use Throne Room to Mine a Copper to a Gold? @sitnaltax - The Hinterlands cards Trader and Jack of All Trades also tend to deplete the Silver pile. |

+Cards, do you have to draw right away? "There is no separate card drawing phase of your turn." Actually, there is, but it's the very end of your turn, so moving +Cards to it wouldn't actually make any sense. |

Procession and Throne room interaction Coincidentally, it's better to play the Village before the Bridge since you may draw an action with one of the two draws. |

What are good standard tactics for Dominion? @Guvante It was my understanding at the time that they didn't. Which has since been shown to me that it's wrong; Curses do count as a standard pile. |

What does Masquerade do when you have no cards in hand, library or discard? @user2692 (Forgot about this topic) Yes, except as long as other players have cards in their hand, you're getting 1 card passed to you. 1 card passed and 1 card trashed is a 0 net card gain/loss. In other words, you need to get rid of their hand first for KC/Masq to make your own deck smaller or use a different card, such as Chapel. |

Is there a strategy for consistent winning in the base dominion game with the base setup? In my opinion, Base is the weakest of the dominion sets (arguably, either Prosperity or Dark Ages is the strongest). |

Should I buy Gold or Hoard? The first part of your answer seems to assume that Hoard is only being used once. Once you have the Hoard, you're adding two cards (or more because Hoards can be used together for multiple Golds per Victory) for the cost of a Victory card. For that matter, any Action/Victory or Treasure/Victory stacks well with Hoard. |

What's a good counter-strategy to Workshop/Garden? Side note: There are 12 Gardens in a 3+ player game, not 8 Gardens. |

Dominion: How to Deal With a Board Filled With Terminal Actions A card with +1 Action is, by definition, not terminal. |

Dominion: How to Deal With a Board Filled With Terminal Actions @sitnaltax Of course, the downside is that gaining a Silver isn't optional with Jack of All Trades, so if you have a lot of Golds (or Platinums), using Jack of All Trades has a definite downside. The fact that you can't trash Treasure cards also means it doesn't work well against attacks that stuff Coppers into your deck (Montebank, Jester). |
