Dec 9, 2020 at 16:45 comment added GendoIkari @Andrew Yes, I tried to make that clear in my answer... "it would save you from losing and be just as if you hadn't cast Cloudshift"
Dec 9, 2020 at 16:22 comment added Andrew @GendoIkari but the angel would return to the battlefield, the game loss effect would trigger, be replaced and angel would be exiled. All that cloudshift does in that situation is spend cards and mana to leave the result the same.
Jun 25, 2020 at 8:10 comment added gatherer818 @KarlKnechtel yes, so there was no point in blinking the Archangel, unless you needed to for some other reason.
Jun 25, 2020 at 6:55 comment added Karl Knechtel But you would still have to exile the Cloudshifted Archangel, yes?

Jun 24, 2020 at 22:01 comment added GendoIkari Boomerang would make you lose; Cloudshift wouldn't. This is what I meant by my final sentence.
Jun 24, 2020 at 22:00 comment added doppelgreener “use Boomerang or Cloudshift while an effect that would make you lose is on the stack” — wouldn't that make them lose then? It'd be better to leave the Archangel put.
