Jul 11, 2013 at 2:55 | comment | added | CodeCamper | Actually that is the case but I am also trying to make a board game version in order to force myself to implement more simplicity. There is an underlying theme to the game which enables it to be a board game and a video game, my only problem is keeping track of a few numbers on each square which is where the computer has a great advantage. I imagine if I could somehow make or find those little plastic wheels like on a combo lock or possible implementing smaller versions of those cardboard wheels you showed me it would resolve the problem.

Jul 11, 2013 at 2:07 | comment | added | CodeCamper | There will be at least 4 players and the numbers for simplicity sake I can summarize it from 0-9. Preferably 2 digits 00-99. The problem is I need several of these numbers constantly updated on multiple squares but it is more than just 1 number. At this point my concern probably will be compactness and durability. The square can be as large as 5 inches so I'm debating having some sort of multiple sliders on each territory.

Jul 11, 2013 at 1:47 | comment | added | CodeCamper | That is almost exactly what I am looking for except each territory needs the spinning device. That picture is almost exactly what I was thinking of. The problem is the numbers need to be transparent to the players for each territory. What type of counters could I use? Take your example with the Battlestar Galactica suppose something like that(4 numbers) but in each square maybe about 2-5 inch square.
